I missed the opening of the show by LANG Gallery at Maybe a Vole in London earlier this month , due to being away on holiday. But,- Luckily I managed to pop in to see for myself and meet Laura Noble during our stopover in London on our way home. Have to admit it was quite satisfying to see the Works on the wall, framed ‘n all..;) Thanx to all involved in both framing and hanging the show, I’m proud to be a part of it!

A two-day trip to London is hectic at best, and it being my first time in London on my own, even more so. But it all went very well! Thanks to Laura and the wonderful people around me at the gallery, who had a busy time getting Lottie Davis’ show ready. And ready it got, the opening night was brilliant with a good crowd turning up. My silver gelatin prints on matte paper were delivered into Laura Noble’s competent hands and are now available to see on request.The prints are from the series “Windchimes” and “Scents of Caramel” and range from the size13x18 cm up to 75×100 cm (huge!) All printed by me in our darkroom at home, with many thanks to partner, photographer and artist Øyvind Hjelmen for support and help, without you it would not be possible.

My images are getting the final retouch by a master before heading for London and Laura Noble Gallery on Wednesday 3rd of April.
First of all to deliver my prints and also to participate at the opening of Lottie Davies – Memories and Nightmares at the gallery.

It is with some anticipation I now have released my most recent work; “Windchimes” along with the renewal of this site.
This series is to me a dreamlike re-visitation of childhood’s play-scapes, escaping into other worlds, – known,- yet unknown …
